It’s been years since I came out about my singing and first got on stage to perform a full length concert in honor of entering my fourth decade. It was supposed to be "One night and one night only." When I performed that night, I felt tangible love reflected back to me from the people who shared the experience with me. It was then I realized, “ I have to do THAT again!”

Since that night, I’ve played +20 shows and recorded 12 songs. Recently, I was asked by The Leaders of Design Council to speak and sing in Lisbon, Portugal on the topic “How bringing music back into my life changed my design career”.

When I made that first move back towards my heart’s desire, I didn’t realize the transformation I had kicked off… but like the song goes “you can’t start a fire without a spark.” By SINGING, I learned first hand that a little fire can produce serious alchemy! So I continue to make sparks every chance I get.

It’s no surprise that I chose interior design as my profession. 

I’ve always believed that HOME is the foundation for a happy life. My thinking was that if everything was just so- that would springboard into perfect success in the outside world.  Now, my relationship with music reminds me in a new way, that HOME is much much more than a physical place with perfect decoration or even perfect function.

Home is a state of being.

It's creating space to come to know oneself and to have the freedom to explore what a passionate life can be like, no matter the setting.
